Why do we use soybean oil in our Q10: Simply because no other oils are nearly as good

A frequently asked question from our customers is why we use soybean oil in our Q10 capsules when we could instead choose for example olive oil or fish oil?

    Best absorbtion - documented

The answer to that question is simple: because the soybean oil we use has proved, in scientific studies, to have the best absorbency of the active substance coenzyme Q10!

No other oils were nearly as good

Over the years, Pharma Nord has been experimenting with a variety of oils to see if we were able to further improve our body's absorption of Q10. Among other things, we have experimented with olive oil and fish oil. However, none of the other types of oil have been able to document the same high absorption and stability of raw Q10 as the one we have achieved with soybean oil. We have used palm oil in our Q10 supplements for a while, but due to even better results with soybean oil and for environmental reasons, we have returned to soybean oil*.

    Soybean oil without estrogen

The soy plant contains isoflavonoids, which are a subset of a larger group of herbal substances called plant estrogens because their structure is similar to the female sex hormone estrogen. Virtually all plants contain plant estrogens, but in very different amounts.

The soybean oil we use in our Q10 capsules is very different from the soybean oil used in cooking. First, it is a pharmaceutical grade oil that consists of a mixture of soy oils with different melting points. Secondly, the oils are completely purified of residues of protein substances and are thus completely free of estrogen and estrogen-like substances. Control analyzes by an external laboratory confirm that the oil is completely free of estrogen and estrogen-like substances.

Finally, our soybean oil is GMO-free.

Oil with two different melting points

Pharma Nord's patented method for absorbing Q10 requires an oil with two different melting points. In Pharma Nord's Q10 capsules, both oils we use are soy oils, and together with the heat treatment, this combination releases the Q10 molecules.

The biggest Q10 studies done with soybean oil

Bio-Quinone Q10 was initially designed with soybean oil, and the majority of the major scientific Q10 studies have all been done with Q10 using Pharma Nord's special soybean oil. No Q10 product on the market is better studied.
